BOSTON, MA– March 5, 2012 – IT security and data protection company Sophos today announced industry honors it received at the recent RSA conference. Sophos was recognized with SC Magazine’s 2012 Reader Trust Award for Best Email Security product and Naked Security was named Best Corporate Security Blog at the Social Security Blogger Awards.

Sophos UTM, which provides fully integrated enterprise-class network security for businesses of all sizes, received the Best Email Security Product award based on product functionality, manageability, ease-of-use and scalability. Winners were chosed by SC Magazine’s Reader Trust Voting Panel, comprised of IT security executives. Additionally, SC Magazine recently gave the Sophos UTM a five-star rating in the UTM Group Test. Sophos has received several five-star ratings from SC Magazine for the Sophos UTM including for application control and email content management.

Naked Security was honored as the Best Corporate Security Blog in the Social Security Blogger Awards during the 6th annual  Security Bloggers Meetup. Winners were chosen by a panel of expert judges including prominent security journalists and analysts. Last year, Naked Security was recognized as the Most Educational Security Blog at the Security Bloggers Meetup.
