Oxford and Boston -- February 18, 2014 -- Sophos announced today a new distribution partnership with Ingram Micro Inc., (NYSE: IM) the world's largest wholesale technology distributor and a global leader in IT supply-chain and mobile device lifecycle services. Ingram Micro has commenced full distribution of the Sophos portfolio to its reseller channel across North America.

Under the new alliance the two industry leaders will build and scale an exceptional partner program for IT channel partners focused on security solutions. Sophos, a global provider of cloud, network, server and enduser protection solutions, is the only IT security company that's a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrants for Unified Threat Management (UTM), Mobile Data Protection and Endpoint Protection Platforms. Ingram Micro has demonstrated thought leadership, reach and access to key vertical markets including education, financial services, healthcare and state and local government – also strong verticals for Sophos. The two companies will work together to offer an extensive set of sales and technical tools, as well as training and support resources to its mutual channel partners.

Under the terms of the agreement, Ingram Micro's Advanced Technology Division will market, sell and support Sophos' entire portfolio of network, server and endpoint security solutions, including Sophos Cloud.
